Warehouse automation:
Ekoï leads the market
in cycling and aims
for the leading position
A strategic partnership for the future
Ekoï, a French leader in cycling equipment, has taken another step towards operational efficiency with the automation of its brand new warehouse in Puget-sur-Argens. Covering an area of 3,200 m², this ultra-modern logistics centre is designed to meet double-digit annual growth, driven by the boom in online sales and the growing passion for cycling.
Advanced technology for agile automation
BOA Concept stands out for its scalable and flexible technology, perfectly adapted to the dynamic needs of growing companies like Ekoï.
Stéphane Bulliod, head of Matilog, attests to the efficiency of the chosen solutions:

The BOA Concept conveyor system directs received parcels to the storage area, where reading RFID chips on items facilitates the process and secures stock management. This approach greatly reduces errors and stockouts, thus ensuring immediate availability of references on the merchant site.
For outbound flows, bins containing products are routed to an order validation area. RFID technology, combined with the WCS BOA Drive supervisor, simplifies operators' work, thus reducing preparation errors and ensuring end customer satisfaction. Once orders are consolidated at the seven stations, they are sent to the shipping area to be sorted by carrier.
Tangible results and enhanced efficiency
Since its opening last April, the automated warehouse has already generated a remarkable 30% productivity gain compared to Ekoï's previous logistics processes. Furthermore, operators have benefited from increased comfort at work, reducing their daily travel from 30 km to just 4 to 5 km on average during peak periods.

Thanks to this strategic initiative, Ekoï firmly positions itself at the forefront of cycling goods distribution, ready to meet future growth challenges with agility and efficiency. The automation of their new warehouse not only optimises their internal operations but also strengthens their ability to serve customers worldwide quickly and reliably.
